Next Saturday, three-year-old Maurice gelding Mazu will start in the richest race on turf, The Everest.
Arrowfield Group Chairman John Messara says the “early signs are there” from racehorse Maurice breeding “two exceptional animals” Mazu and Hitotsu.
“We’re seeing good performance like him but not quite as good as him yet from some of his progenies, so it looks very hopeful he’s going to reproduce himself,” Mr Messara told Sky News Australia.
