Gillon McLachlan and Paul Scurrah shortlisted for Brisbane Olympics boss position – Sky News Australia

Sky News Queensland Editor Peter Gleeson says AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan and former Virgin Australia CEO Paul Scurrah have emerged as “clear favourites” for the role of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics boss.
“It’s been a six-month process. Andrew Liveris – the former Dow Chemicals CEO, who is now the Chair of the Brisbane Olympics, has been sifting through those applications,” he said.
Mr Gleeson said CEOs from around the world had applied for the position.
“We’re talking about a very high-priced salary.”
