All-time Big Bash run-scorer Chris Lynn has found a new club for the upcoming season, inking a deal with the Adelaide Strikers.
Following a shock split from the Brisbane Heat at the end of last season, the 32-year-old will join the Strikers for BBL|12 and will be available for the majority of their campaign.
Lynn has amassed over 3,000 runs in the Big Bash, taking out Player of the Tournament honours in both 2015/16 and 2016/17.
The powerful right-hander has also played over 20 games for Australia, and is looking forward to his latest T20 endeavour.
“I’ll be doing my best; I’ll be coming down to Adelaide fit and strong and ready to score a heap of runs and even more importantly, put on a show for the fans, who are the backbone of the Adelaide Strikers,” Lynn said.
“It always such a great atmosphere walking into Adelaide Oval, and not only that but walking over the bridge on game day, the atmosphere in the city is great.
“I know the fans will be out in force this summer.”

Lynn will join the likes of Rashid Khan, Alex Carey and Travis Head as members of the Adelaide franchise.
Strikers coach Jason Gillespie was full of praise for Lynn upon news of his arrival.
“We all know the qualities that Chris Lynn brings to the table. He is a proven match-winner, an experienced leader and a great character to have around the group,” Gillespie said.
“His record speaks for itself. We’re thrilled to have him and know he can play an important role for us this summer.”
Adelaide – as well as the other BBL franchises – will look to further strengthen their squads in Sunday night’s draft.
