How to watch La Liga in Australia: TV, live stream, schedule for 2022/23 season – Sporting News

Real Madrid will be looking to defend their La Liga title in a 2022-23 season not to be missed.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side strolled to first-place in 2021-22 and finished 13 points clear of next best Barcelona.
Desperate to dethrone their fierce rivals, Barca have spent big over the summer and brought in some star names like Robert Lewandowski, who look poised to light up La Liga.
Atletico Madrid remain a real force under Diego Simeone too and will be eager to make it a three-way battle for the league title.
Australia will also have a new player in La Liga this season with Socceroos winger Awer Mabil joining Cadiz over the offseason.
La Liga will be broadcast exclusively on Optus Sport this season after they picked up the rights from previous holder beIN Sports.
Optus Sport also currently show the Premier League, among other competitions, with La Liga games to be streamed solely on their service for the 2022-23 season.
La Liga matches can be watched on Optus Sport via the following ways:
Optus Sport recently raised its prices for the first time
Previously, a one-month subscription cost $14.99 but that is now priced at $24.99 with an annual pass available for $199.
Eligible Optus customers, who previously got free access to the service, will now also have to pay $6.99 each month if they wish to maintain their subscription.
At the time of the announcement, Optus stressed the price increase was necessary and will allow them to provide the best coverage moving forward.
“This compares favourably with other content streaming services that have emerged in the Australian landscape and is the first change to Optus Sport’s pricing since we first launched in 2016,” an Optus Sport statement read.
“We want you to know that we’re fully committed to providing value for money, so from August, all live and on-demand Premier League matches will be available to stream in 1080p HD on supported devices. That means you can watch all the action from the world’s best league in exceptional detail.
“We’ll continue bringing you every match live, plus full replays, mini matches, highlights, magazine shows and more, so you can watch your team without missing a beat.”
